Your host will be likely the best help for you. Just ask them why mod_rewrite via .htaccess isn't working on your account. Many hosts have custom and different setups that require special permissions for some things.

Actually I fixed it on my own. Sorry for having to post that, but all I did was uncomment the thing in the .htaccess file and change from /mybb/ to /forums/. Great modification!

No ... Because IMHO, I don't think it's that great of a skin and I just made it for this forum in 2-3 quick hours.

Do not use this plugin on multi-lingual forums with special characters. Those special characters cannot really be used in the urls.
