I seriously don't consider most forum user profiles as useful and I am not planning to introduce that functionality in near future at least.

I agree with bdude, it should work with usernames.... case in point. There may be people with unique usernames that they use on every board... like nintendope or arcadios or anthonycea etc. And this would help mybb boards with rankings for that particular members name acting as a keyword.
