RE: SpiceFuse AJAX Shoutbox Beta for MyBB!

Gday all. First post here. Smile
Anyway. I have shoutbox installed and running perfect. Has been for about 2 months now.
Problem i have is the size of it. I mean i have over 30000 shouts already.
It would be great to see an option to prune old shouts or even better Smile to get them moved to a post then deleted.
One question also. Because of the volume of shouts i have, could this be the reason i am experiencing a slower shoutbox?

Great plugin by the way.
Thanks DAMINK.

RE: SpiceFuse AJAX Shoutbox Beta for MyBB!

I love this shoutbox as well and upgraded from 1.2 to 1.4 few weeks ago.

I allowed SuperMods to delete shouts. However, it seems that they can delete single shouts only. As mentioned in Pacifiers first post the commands "/delete..." can be used only by admins. Is it possible to adapt the code, so SuperMods can use these commands as well? I tried by myself but didn't succed. Thinking

Pacifier Wrote:
Installation is simple, follow the steps below:

4a. Either: Edit the template 'index' (under "Index Page Templates" template group), find:

Code:
{$header}

add below:

Code:
<sf_shoutbox>

4b. OR: Edit the header template, and add <sf_shoutbox> somewhere towards the end, or wherever you would like the shoutbox to be displayed.

4c. Make sure: that the shoutbox.js is CHMOD 777.

Thanks for this great plugin. I have a suggestion to make it easier for installation without a problem: Could you please change the above quoted instructions to my recommended on?

Best regard

Is there a way to link this up to the censored words to prevent censored words being said out?

RE: SpiceFuse AJAX Shoutbox Beta for MyBB!

I don't understand what is going on... It will not work for some reason even after I read the above and tried that. It continues to display loading... with this when you click the view the full shoutbox:
10-07-16:11 -- Test Shout! Without any shout, shoutbox will display Loading... forever.. you need at least one shout, so here it

Here is what Firefox says:
Error: ShoutBox is not defined
Source File: http://www.)*)&(&Fforum.com/
Line: 132

With this highlighted in the error document
ShoutBox.refreshInterval = 30;

I will check back here and leave it off for now since it cannot be used LOL
