What kind of hosting (shared, reseller, VPS, Dedicated.. etc..) are you currently using to host your website(s)?

I am currently using a Dedicated Server and a VPS.

Just shared, I used to have a reseller, but got tired of my host being.. rude.. [to say the least] so I switched to a shared plan. It hasn't been superb, but no real issues so far.

I am using a shared hosting account. The service seems to be overloaded as I often see my pop3 & ftp clients slow to a crawl and start timing out. Trying to enter webmail or cpanel when this happens is also often impossible. I started leaving the cpanel server status sitting on my browser so I could refresh to see what the server load was. Upon checking the server load, I see the server load above 25% with 4 CPU's whenever the slow downs happen. I noticed that there are only two disks shown the boot at 41% and the / running at 81%.

Doesn't it feels like you have too less control after switching to shared hosting?

Yes, unfortunately I don't have access to alot of the utilities when I had a dedicated host, lol . But shared hosting is abit cheaper for me right now and I am considering a dedicated again when I have the money .

Im on a VPS, hosted by HawkHost.
VPS is cheaper than a dedicated so yeah, I think it's pretty good.

I use my own server, so I have max. control.
